A free movement platformer game
sorsemovement is a free FPS movement platformer that combines movement mechanics from most of today’s most popular Source engine games—the game engine behind Half-Life and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). You navigate across levels through a variety of movement options in order to get to the end.
The action game is set in vividly colorful 3D mazes that feature obstacles like walls and ramps for you to move across. There is no story to follow or characters to choose from, with sorsemovement being closer to Aimlab in that these games are designed to further develop your skills.
Improve your in-game motion
An unusual feature of the sorsemovement is that when you start it, it also opens Discord in the background. You can close it and get back to the game to get started. Its homepage sports a plain black background with all text in neon green. The controls are detailed here and are similar to the mapping used by most games today, such as WASD for movement and Space for jump.
The game offers two different modes: Tutorial + Gauntlet and Sandbox. In Tutorial + Gauntlet, you are given a test stage first to learn the ropes followed by the actual course. Navigating through the stage is simple and straightforward. The only challenge here is the presence of the various obstacles that require you to respond faster and faster as the game progresses.
On the other hand, the Sandbox mode freely allows you to try out various obstacles and features in an open location. You can run up and down walls, practice your slope surfing skills, or even try the dizzying spiral slides. Be careful though: once you fall off the map, there is no way to return but to respawn your character.

While it uses solid-colored features in its maps, the practice you get from switching between running and sliding could help you perform better in other games.
